JABAR EKSPRES – Head of Public Relations of PT KAI Daop 1 Jakarta, Eva Chairunisa noted that as many as 18,000 travelers left Jakarta through Gambir Station with 38 trains operating today.
“For Gambir Station, the volume of passengers departing today reached around 18,000 with 38 trains operating,” she said when met at Pasar Senen Station, Jakarta, Wednesday (19/4).
Meanwhile, the number of travelers departing from Pasar Senen Station on the same day reached 23,900 people with 32 trains operating.
In total, Eva said, around 41,900 passengers departed from Gambir and Pasar Senen Stations today with the passenger occupancy rate reaching 100 percent.

According to Eva, the peak of the homecoming flow at Gambir and Pasar Senen Stations began on April 19 to April 21 with the occupancy of the departing trains reaching 100 percent.
“Even for today, there is no more ticket availability at the go show station,” she said.
Based on today’s data, he continued, there are around 580 thousand tickets for Lebaran transportation period departures from Gambir and Pasar Senen stations that have been sold.
Of this amount, the majority of reservations were made for departure schedules on favorite dates, namely from 14 to 23 April 2023.
Based on the data of tickets sold on these dates, he said, the occupancy rate of passenger volume has reached 90 to 100 percent.
The highest volume of departing passengers was recorded on April 18, 19, 20 and 21, 2023 with the occupancy rate reaching 100 percent.
As for a number of destination cities that are favorite choices include Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Purwokerto, Kutoarjo, Semarang, Tegal, Solo and Bandung.
“So for tickets, almost all trains are full unless later on there are people who cancel,” Eva said.
