JABAR EKSPRES – Polish Ambassador to Indonesia Beata Stoczynska said her party is interested in cooperating in the Likupang Tourism Special Economic Zone (SEZ), Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi.
“The main reason the Polish delegation came to North Sulawesi is to explore the possibility of cooperation in the Likupang Special Economic Zone (SEZ),” Beata told reporters during a press conference in Manado, North Sulawesi, Thursday (9/14).
She hopes that other cooperation opportunities will not only be in Likupang, Bitung City, but in several places in the province.

“Bitung SEZ, for example, has a beautiful harbor. We want to present not only Likupang, but other places in North Sulawesi,” he said.
Beata was impressed with the development in North Sulawesi, which is why he decided to come back this September and bring businessmen as well as the trade and investment department.
The goal is to talk concretely about the possibility of cooperation with North Sulawesi.
Beata was also impressed with the infrastructure development projects in Manado, such as the new route, as well as the modern airport.
“We will meet with Governor Olly Dondokambey, he is very open and willing to invite Polish businessmen to develop trade and investment between Indonesia and Poland in the future,” she said.
The focus of cooperation can be related to environmentally friendly technology, sustainable development, IT sector and tourism sector.
Ambassador Beata brought several delegation members such as Stanislaw Stoczynski, Polish Embassy (advisor); Janusz Wladyczak, KUKE (CEO); Lukasz Holubowski, independent businessman; Paweł Pampuszko, legal company (owner); Jacek Kolomyjec (Director PAIH Jakarta Office); Cezary Filipek (PAIH Jakarta Office); and Karolina Ionescu (Political and Economic Counselor at the Embassy).
