Vietnam is a Popular Tourist Destination for Indonesian Visitors

Jabar Ekspres – Vietnam, one of the countries in Southeast Asia that borders Laos and Cambodia, is now becoming one of the tourist destinations that are increasingly in demand by visitors from Indonesia.

This was conveyed by Vietjet Air’s Vice President of Commercial, Jay L. Lingeswara at the “Launch of Vietjet Air Flight Services Jakarta – Ho Chi Minh City Route” at The Westin Jakarta on Tuesday. The high interest of Indonesians to travel to Vietnam makes Vietjet Air as an airline from Vietnam provide a new route from Jakarta to Ho Chi Minh City.

“Indonesia is a big market. In fact, flights from Bali to Ho Chi Minh City/Hanoi or vice versa can reach 5 flights a day during the holiday season,” Jay said.

Vietnam offers a variety of cultures, beautiful natural scenery, and delicious culinary tours for visitors. This is a special attraction for Indonesian tourists to travel there.

There are several favorite destinations for visitors while in Vietnam, namely Da Nang, Ha Long Bay, Son Doong Cave, Phu Quoc Islands, Cam Ranh Bay, the ancient city of Hue, Hoi An, and others. Ho Chi Minh City is one of the popular destinations in Vietnam and many visitors from Indonesia visit the area.

In Ho Chi Min City, visitors can visit various historical sites and a variety of culinary offerings, ranging from Michelin-awarded restaurants to street food. The prices offered vary and can be chosen according to each budget.

Some of the historical sites that can be visited in the city include the Saigon Central Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral Basilica, Ben Thanh market, and a tour of the Cu Chi Tunnel. Uniquely, some of these historical sites are relics from the French colonial era when they occupied Vietnam.
