He explained that the program to install boundary markers for the six Tes Lake TWA management blocks had previously been planned since 2022 and could only be implemented at the end of May 2023.
The installation of the Tes Lake TWA management block marker itself aims to maintain sustainability in accordance with its function and can provide benefits to the people in the region.
The management blocks that are installed include utilization blocks with green signs, then traditional blocks with brown signs, special blocks with gray signs, protection blocks with red signs.
He said of the six blocks, there are several that can provide economic benefits, namely the traditional block which contains pine plantations, where the local community through farmer groups can take the sap and fruit but must first make a cooperation agreement (PKS) with BKSDA.
“In this traditional block, residents who are members of farmer groups are allowed to take the results, but they are given the responsibility to plant pine plants that have died,” he explained.
