The Daddies are Still Motivated to Qualify for The Paris Olympics

At the World Championship itself, the men’s doubles ranked eighth in the world have a good track record. They became world champions at least three times, namely in 2013, 2015 and 2019.

At the 2013 China World Championship Hendra / Ahsan defeated Danish doubles Mathias Boe / Carsten Mogensen with 21-13, 23-21.

Furthermore, the 2015 World Championship took place at Istora Senayan Jakarta defeating Chinese doubles Qiu Zihan/Liu Xiaolong with 21-17, 21-14.

Furthermore, at the 2019 Swiss World Championship, Hendra/Ahsan defeated Japanese doubles Takuro Hoki/Yugo Kobayashi 25-23, 9-21, 21-15.

“Hopefully we can bring home a medal, whatever that medal is,” Hendra said.
