JABAR EKSPRES – Kalteng Putra management continues to make various preparations for the League competition 2 which will begin in September, one of which fulfills the quota of foreign players by targeting players from Japan and Brazil.
Kalteng Putra Club Owner Agustiar Sabran in Palangka Raya, Friday (6/30), said the quota of two foreign players in Liga 2 Indonesia was set by agreement with PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB).
“Apart from trying to bring in foreign players, we have also recruited a number of players from the League 1 Indonesia. Even now there are also two former national team players who are still communicating with management. If later it is a deal then we will announce the two players,” he said.

Agustiar, who also serves as a member of the Indonesian Parliament, said that management and Kalteng Putra’s new coach, Jafri Sastra, continue to hunt for players who have good enough quality to formulate a strong team.
Because, with the quality of qualified players and the requirements for experience in the League 1 and 2 Indonesia is expected to lift the team to qualify for the League 1 Indonesia. Moreover, the coach who has been contracted for one season by Central Kalimantan Putra also has experience in handling teams in Indonesia.
“We are optimistic that the target of qualifying for the League 1 Indonesia will be achieved with the quality of the players we will prepare,” he said.
The older brother of Central Kalimantan Governor Sugianto Sabran and Central Kalimantan Putra management also continue to monitor players who are not yet tied to other clubs so that they can be recruited to strengthen the team that is the pride of the Central Kalimantan people.
“If the player quota has been filled, we will expose it to our media friends, we ask for prayers so that Kalteng Putra can win the League Competition 2 Indonesia this year,” said Agustiar Sabran.
