Departure of Two Hajj Pilgrimage Candidates from Deli Serdang Group 16 Postponed

JABAR EKSPRES – Two hajj candidates who are members of the flight group (kloter) from Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra have been postponed from leaving for Jeddah due to illness.

The two hajj candidates are Yakrub Muhamad Yakub Kadir, who was postponed due to illness, and Henniwati Wahidin Lubis, who was postponed due to illness.

“Yes, it is true that the two hajj candidates from Medan Embarkation Cluster 16 from Deli Serdang Regency have been postponed from leaving for Jeddah,” said Medan Embarkation Hajj Public Relations Officer HM Yunus, when confirmed on Thursday (6/9).

Yunus said the two candidates had fallen ill in the area where they live, and had not yet entered the Medan Hajj Dormitory.

“The two candidates have not yet entered the Medan Hajj Dormitory,” said the spokesman.

A total of 348 hajj candidates who are members of the 16th flight group (kloter) from Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra departed for Jeddah from the Medan Hajj Dormitory on Thursday.

The 348 hajj candidates from Deli Serdang Regency were the second batch to leave for Jeddah and all had worn ihram clothes while at the Medan Hajj Dormitory.

Head of the North Sumatra Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs H Ahmad Qosbi Nasution when releasing Kloter 16 hoped that the hajj candidates from Deli Serdang Regency could become a mabrur hajj.

Qosbi said the characteristics of getting a mabrur hajj are that the prospective pilgrims are diligent in worship and multiply charity and worship while in the holy land.

“Hajj candidates should comply with all the provisions of carrying out the hajj pilgrimage in Mecca, and do not violate the rules that have been set, and do not make noise so that it can disturb the security of other hajj candidates,” he said.
