JABAR EKSPRES —Nabila Ishma finally kept her promise to her late lover, Emmeril Kahn Mumtadz or Eril, to be a companion at the ITB graduation ceremony.
Nabila Ishma had long been looking forward to Eril’s graduation moment even though Ridwan Kamil’s son had died.
“I don’t know how to express my feelings yesterday. I have waited so long for this moment. But I never imagined that I would go through this moment without you Ril,” Nabila Ishma wrote in English on her Instagram Stories.

Nabila Ishma said she was proud that her late lover was finally able to complete his education. Nabila Ishma also recalled how Eril struggled while working on his thesis.
“Finally seeing you graduate, remembering every struggle, effort, cry, anger, and complaint I saw to finally see you get there,” said Nabila Ishma.
“This brings me back to the time when you used to call me to accompany you to work on your thesis. You said, ‘Anyway, don’t ask me where my thesis is, you don’t understand either, just accompany me to keep my spirits up’,” she recalled.
Nabila Ishma revealed that Eril had apologized to her before he died after drowning in the Aare river, Bern Switzerland.

“Not long before you left me, you told me, ‘I’m sorry Bi, I can’t graduate on time and work like my friends, keep me company’,” she said.
Nabila Ishma finally came to Eril’s graduation ceremony on Saturday (8/4) yesterday. Eril’s figure was presented in the form of a large photo of his body complete with a toga like other graduates.
“I keep my promise to stay by your side until you graduate. I can’t give you the gift I promised before, but I am sending prayers that I believe will be the best gift for you in heaven,” said Nabila Ishma.
