Argentina Coach Says Match Against Indonesia Won’t be Easy

JABAR EKSPRES – Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni revealed that the match between his team and the Indonesian national team will be difficult.

The Indonesian national team will be scheduled to meet Argentina, who have the status of world champions in a match titled FIFA match day at Gelora Bung Karno stadium, Jakarta, Monday.

“So Indonesia is a good team. They have good technique. It’s not easy for us (Argentina) against Indonesia of course,” Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni said in a press conference ahead of the match on Sunday.

Scaloni also revealed that tomorrow’s strategy by rotating a number of players is an experiment that is trying to give young players minutes to play.

“That the change (rotation) Argentina players in this match is not because Indonesia is weak. But I want to try new strategies and want to experiment,” said Scaloni.

The coach who led the Tango team to win the 2022 World Cup also said that there would be some changes regarding the depth of the players compared to the players who entered the team at last year’s World Cup.

Scaloni has also shown this during the match against Australia (15/6) by giving potential player Alejandro Garnacho the opportunity to play.

“Every minute a player plays there will be changes that are important to make (team rotation) and there are many things that need to be followed from these changes. There are many new players coming into the team, but the color of Argentina’s game remains unchanged,” Scaloni said.

Scaloni also commented on the enthusiasm of the Indonesian people with the arrival of the Albicaleste team. Scaloni also appreciated the presence of supporters who came directly to the stadium.
