He said the Bengkulu City Government will always collaborate according to the needs of Salin by conducting socialization and cooperating with the Community Empowerment Institution (LPM), urban villages, sub-districts, and Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) within the Bengkulu City Government.

Director of Waste Berkah Sejahtera Muhammad Arif Sudibyo explained that the Salin application functions as a waste bank for the community.

How to use the Salin application, he said, is quite easy, namely the community can download the application on the PlayStore on Android, then the community can send photos of the garbage they have through the application.

Furthermore, the waste can be sold and converted into a certain monetary value according to the type and amount of waste by paying virtually to the community’s account.

“When Waste Bank Salin customers often sort waste and later these customers in addition to getting some money, we also provide mementos from waste management UMKM,” he explained.

Currently, Arif said, the Bengkulu City Government fully supports the Salin application through regulations and helps conduct socialization at the community level.
