The next launch could take place at a time determined by North Korea, a presidential official told Yonhap News Agency.
“We are prepared for the possibility,” the official said.
President Yoon agreed with US President Joe Biden and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida at a trilateral meeting in November to share live missile warning data to address the growing threat of North Korea’s nuclear and missile programs.
The warning system was not activated on Wednesday but will likely be operational after coordination among the three countries’ military authorities next month, the official said.
