JABAR EKSPRES–Ganjaran Buruh Berjuang (GBB) volunteers have expanded their support for PDI-P presidential candidate Ganjar Pranowo to Malaysia.
GBB Chairman, Lukman Hakim said, in a written statement in Jakarta on Tuesday (25/4) that the support came from hundreds of Indonesian migrant workers in Malaysia.
“The declaration was made two days after Eid al-Fitr,” he said.
During the declaration, the workers also signed a statement of support for Ganjar Pranowo as President of the Republic of Indonesia in 2024.

They are workers from surrounding fields such as Bukit Payong Field, Rumpin Field, Bebar Field, Merchong Field, Laerun Field and Gambang Field.
Lukman said the GBB in Malaysia was the momentum for the declaration of the Overseas GBB to expand support from among Indonesian migrant workers (BMI) or workers in various countries.
He emphasized that support from BMI cannot be separated from raising support in the BMI’s hometown.
“GBB will also expand its reach to BMI villages with economic programs, for example through Warung Ganjaran,” he emphasized.
Meanwhile, GBB Secretary General, Kelik Ismunanto, explained GBB’s vision for the long-term program is to improve the welfare of migrant workers and their families.
By winning Ganjar Pranowo, continued Kelik, migrant workers will have the opportunity to change their fate to become more prosperous.
Meanwhile, worker representative, Ony Silantara, believes that Ganjar Pranowo’s actions and hard work are very good, while serving as Governor of Central Java for two periods.
“We hope Mr. Ganjar can pay attention to our fate, the fate of migrant workers,” he hoped.
