JABAR EKSPRES — PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk noted that as many as 12,000 vehicle drivers experienced insufficient balance at the Kalikangkung Toll Gate (GT) on the Batang-Semarang Toll Road during the Lebaran 2023 homecoming season.
Corporate Communication and Community Development Group Head of Jasa Marga, Lisye Octaviana, on Sunday (23/4), said that road users who will start the Lebaran 2023 homecoming journey should ensure the adequacy of the electronic money (e-Toll) balance used.
This was conveyed because seeing in the period H-7 to H-1 of the homecoming flow of Eid al-Fitr 1444 H, there were 12,209 vehicles with insufficient balances at the Kalikangkung GT on the Batang-Semarang Toll Road.
At GT Kalikangkung, road users pay toll rates from Cikampek to Semarang.

Lisye said that the number was 3.97 percent of the total 306,980 vehicles that made transactions at the Kalikangkung GT.
According to her, with the lack of e-Toll balance and e-Toll top-up at the toll booth, it will result in a significant delay time.
With the delay, his party recorded an average decrease in toll booth transaction capacity at GT Kalikangkung by -5 percent per hour.
“Initially in 1 minute we could serve transactions for up to five vehicles, if road users lack balance and have to top up at the toll booth, then 1 minute can only serve one vehicle,” she also said.
Lisye reminded road users with continuous travel for the return flow, especially from Semarang to Jakarta, must prepare e-Toll with a minimum balance of Rp500,000.
As for road users from Surabaya, they should prepare e-Toll with a minimum balance of Rp800,000.
