1,500 Joint Personnel Secure Eid al-Fitr 1444 H in Bogor

JABAR EKSPRES — A total of 1,500 joint personnel are involved in Operation Ketupat Lodaya 2023 to secure the Eid al-Fitr 1444 Hijri celebration in Bogor Regency, West Java.

Bogor Police Chief, AKBP Iman Imanuddin after the troop title ceremony at Pakansari Stadium, Cibinong, Monday (17/4) said as many as 1,500 joint personnel, 190 arrangement posts, 18 security posts, one integrated service post, and one main post, which are organized throughout the Bogor Regency area.

He explained that Operation Ketupat Lodaya this time will be held for 14 days from April 18 to May 1, 2023, and starting today all personnel involved in the implementation of the operation are already at the posts.

“Each post is filled by joint personnel from the TNI, Polri, elements of the Bogor Regency Government, and other relevant stake holders. All work together to carry out Operation Ketupat 2023. To provide a sense of security and comfort, and smoothness for travelers and visitors to tourist attractions,” Iman said.

According to him, Bogor Regency has many tourist destinations, so his party will be aware of the increase in the number of visitors in each existing tourist destination.

“We have held various security simulations, both alternative routes and security methods in order to provide a sense of security and comfort for the community while traveling,” he explained.

In the same place, Acting Bogor Regent Iwan Setiawan said the activity was a tangible manifestation of synergy between agencies in Bogor Regency.

“The troop title ceremony is a form of readiness for the implementation of Operation Ketupat 2023. This is a tangible manifestation of the synergy of the Bogor Regency Government, the Police, the TNI, and related stake holders in order to secure homecoming and the celebration of Eid al-Fitr 1444 Hijriah,” Iwan said.

Iwan advised the officers of Operation Ketupat Lodaya to be able to work optimally, so that people can celebrate Eid al-Fitr joyfully, but remain safe and conducive.
