Earlier on the evening of August 10, 2023, the Indonesian Embassy in Beijing invited around 50 people from the Indonesian Guiqiao community to the Ambassador House.
Guiqiao are native Chinese people who once lived in Indonesia but were forced to return to China even though they still love Indonesia.
The Indonesian Embassy in Beijing also held a series of competitions on August 13, 2023, including happy bicycle, flag moving competition, cracker eating competition, balloon breaking competition, ping pong ball blowing competition, chopsticks competition, cracker eating competition, and dragon balloon competition. While the competitions for adults are sarong racing, balloon dancing, and balloon-breaking relay competitions.
