JABAR EKSPRES –The Directorate General of Railways (DJKA) emphasized that the Jabodebek LRT operating software update is almost complete.
DJKA is also ready to conduct limited trials with passengers.
Director General of Railways Risal explained, currently the process of updating the Jabodebek LRT operating software has entered the stage of perfecting the integration system between the facility and the Passenger Screen Door (PSD) located on the station platform.

“Earlier, it was also tried for trains traveling and stopping on the platform. Alhamdulillah, this time it is smoother and more comfortable compared to yesterday’s trial,” Risal said in a written press release, Thursday (7/27).
The software updates carried out by Jabodebek LRT include updating the Automatic Train Supervison (ATS) and Trainguard Mass Transit (TMGT) systems. The system plays a role in regulating the distance and interval between trains when operated in driveless mode.
Meanwhile, both systems are required in train operations with Grade of Automation (GoA) level 3 to ensure the safety and security of train travel.
