JABAR EKSPRES – PLEDIS Entertainment gave an official statement on the reckless actions of fans of actor and idol Hwang Min Hyun.
The fan is known to have come to Hwang Min Hyn’s filming location. Even though the filming location is not publicized.
Due to the visit, the filming process was hampered until it was considered to have violated Hwang Min Hyun’s privacy. The fan’s actions also greatly harmed the drama production team and the idol.
“We would like to inform you that unauthorized visits to unannounced artist events and/or scheduled activities (drama filming, etc.) have increased in frequency, causing disruption to site operations,” the agency stated.

“Unauthorized visits to filming locations have not only led to delays in shooting but also the spread of unwanted videos and photos of the project on social media, which is detrimental to not only the artist but also the drama production team,” it continued.
For the sake of mutual convenience, PLEDIS Entertainment asks fans to be able to maintain Hwang Min Hyun’s privacy.
The agency also gave a warning about these actions which were deemed inappropriate by official fans of the Alchemy of Souls drama player.
“To ensure a healthy fan culture and protect the safety and rights of our artists, please refrain from visiting, staying, and/or filming at unannounced scheduled activity locations,” the agency said.
“Repeated unauthorized visits may affect your eligibility to join or maintain the Hwang Minhyun Global Fan Club Official Membership (Hwangdo Membership) and lead to partial or full revocation of membership benefits without prior warning. You may also be prohibited from entering or participating in official events, also without prior notice,” Soompi continued.
Meanwhile Hwang Min Hyun is now preparing for his latest drama My Lovely Liar which premieres July 31.
