JABAR EKSPRES – The arrival of Indonesian pilgrims of Flight Group 34 of Batam Embarkation (BTH-34) in Mecca, Saturday, marked the final series of arrivals of Indonesian pilgrims in the 1444 H/2023 M hajj season.
The head of the BTH-34 group, Muhsin, explained that his group of pilgrims departed to Hang Nadim Hajj Dormitory, Batam, a day before departing for Saudi Arabia, on Friday (5/23) at 19.00 WIB.
“Alhamdulillah, the journey was safe and smooth. We arrived in Jeddah at 03.45 Saudi Arabia Time,” Muhsin told the MCH team in the Syiyah area, Mecca, Saturday (6/25).

Mushin explained that there were the oldest hajj participants in his group, namely 80 years old and three hajj candidates who used wheelchairs.
They occupy Syafayir Al Haya lodging, Syisah area, Mecca with 165 hajj participants.
Regarding the departure, Muhsin said the pilgrims were only informed of the departure in the last month.
A hajj candidate who is a member of Kloter BTH-34 admitted that he was happy to be able to go on hajj this year, even though the information was too sudden.
“I was informed at the end of May, it felt impromptu but I’m happy to be able to go. It was supposed to be next year,” said a female pilgrim from Merangi, Jambi, who went with her husband.
On the same occasion, Head of Sector 4 of the Makkah Working Area Haris Fadillah said he was grateful that the final batch of Indonesian pilgrims arrived in the holy land safely.
“Alhamdulillah, we are grateful that the last batch of Indonesian pilgrims has arrived safely in sector 4. Hopefully this closing group will return safely,” Haris said.
Haris hoped that the services provided by the last batch will be up to standard and can be enjoyed by the pilgrims satisfactorily.
Haris conveyed, after coordination with the transportation of the prayer bus service, the pilgrims immediately performed the obligatory Umrah. In addition, according to the agreement of the congregation after they rest.
