Saudi Arabia Condemns Israel’s Brutal Attacks on Palestinians

JABAR EKSPRES – Saudi Arabia on Thursday (6/22) condemned brutal attacks by Israeli settlers on Palestinians and their villages across the occupied West Bank.

In the latest incident on Wednesday (6/21), settlers escorted by Israeli troops brutally attacked the Palestinian village of Turmus Ayya in the central West Bank.

The attack killed one Palestinian and injured dozens of others and destroyed 30 homes, 60 cars and dozens of olive trees.

The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement expressed “full rejection and condemnation of the attacks carried out by Israeli colonial settlers on a number of Palestinian villages in the West Bank that caused casualties and injuries.”

The Saudi ministry rejected all forms of intimidation against the Palestinian people and expressed “condolences to the families of the victims.”

Saudi Arabia also reiterated the kingdom’s solid support for “all international efforts aimed at achieving a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue” in line with international law.

Tensions in the West Bank have peaked in recent months amid an onslaught of Israeli raids on Palestinian cities.

According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, nearly 180 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces since the beginning of this year. Meanwhile, at least 25 Israelis were also killed in various attacks during the same period.

There are an estimated 700,000 settlers living in 164 settlements and 116 outposts in the occupied West Bank.

Under international law, all Jewish settlements in the occupied territories are considered illegal.
