Carrying The Spirit of “Reimagine”, Jaguar Prepares Electric Vehicles by 2025

JABAR EKSPRES – Automotive manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover welcomes the electrification trend by carrying out the “Reimagine” strategy by starting to present their full electrification vehicles in 2025.

President Director of PT JLM Indonesia, Gerry Kertowidjojo, in a press statement on Thursday (6/22), said that one of the ways Jaguar helped advance the energy transition program in the luxury electric vehicle industry in Indonesia was by presenting environmentally friendly electric vehicles with high performance.

“Jaguar’s involvement in the Jakarta E-Prix 2023 is one proof of their commitment to continue innovation in high-performance electric vehicles (EV),” Gerry said.

One of the vehicles used by the Jaguar TCS Racing racing team represented by Mitch Evans and Sam Bird is the Jaguar I-TYPE 6. According to him, the vehicle already represents a picture of Jaguar’s future electric vehicles, including the Jaguar I-Pace.

“PT JLM is committed to participating in the EV sector starting with presenting I-PACE as a full electric vehicle with high performance in Indonesia,” said Gerry.

The Jaguar I-PACE has been equipped with various advanced technologies, including 90kWh battery technology capable of producing 400 PS of power that allows acceleration of 0-100 kilometers/hour in 4.8 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 200 kilometers/hour.

The car comes with an All-Wheel Drive (AWD) drive system so that the vehicle can combine agility with maximum traction that provides balanced handling during normal road conditions, and smoothly delivers power to prevent slipping during challenging terrain conditions.

Jaguar’s future car also features Torque Vectoring by Braking technology combined with Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), which gives users precise control.

PT JLM Indonesia Marketing and Sales Director Irvino Edwardly said the Jaguar I-PACE comes with a 5-year or 150,000-kilometer warranty and an 8-year or 160,000-kilometer battery warranty.
