JABAR EKSPRES – Minister of Religious Affairs Yaqut Cholil Qoumas ensured the readiness of pilgrims’ facilities ahead of the peak of Hajj by reviewing the services in Arafat carried out by Masyariq or Muassasah starting from tents, kitchens, and toilets.

“Today, I checked the preparations in Arafat made by Masyariq. I think so far so good. There are some things that have not been completed and they promise to finish them in two days,” the Minister said in Arafat, Tuesday (6/20).

Accompanying the inspection were Director General of Hajj and Umrah Hilman Latief, Inspector General of the Ministry of Religious Affairs Faesal AH, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Masyariq Dzahabiyah Company M Amin Indragiri and his staff, special staff and expert staff of the Minister of Religious Affairs, Consul of Hajj at the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Jeddah Nasrullah Jasam, and officials of the Hajj Organizing Committee (PPIH) Saudi Arabia 1444 H/2023 AD.

Masyariq is a service provider company in Masya’ir (Arafat, Muzdalifah, and Mina) for pilgrims. Masyariq is a development of the institutional form of the muasasah. Before 2022, the service provider for Indonesian pilgrims in Masya’ir was known as Muasasah Southeast Asia (Muasasah Janub Syarq Asia).

At that time, its services were limited to Southeast Asian countries and after becoming a company, its name changed to Masyariq and its services were wider, not limited to Southeast Asian countries but also to other regions.

“I also saw the toilet and this is the most crucial. I saw that last year’s promise was kept for the addition of toilets. Alhamdulillah, hopefully next year there will be more toilets because there is still a lot of empty land that can be used to add toilets,” the Minister said.
