Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Wins Two Gold Winners at Indonesia GPR Awards 2023

JABAR EKSPRES – The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) won two Gold Winners at the prestigious public relations award event, The 1st Indonesia GPR Awards (IGA) 2023, organized by Humas Indonesia.

In the award ceremony of The 1st Indonesia GPR Awards 2023 in Makassar, South Sulawesi, Friday (16/6/2023), the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources obtained Gold Winner in the category of Best Government Public Relations Institution and Gold Winner in the category of Best Government Public Relations Program through the Solar Electricity Initiative Movement Program (Gerilya).

Head of the Ministry’s Communication, Public Information Services and Cooperation Bureau Agung Pribadi said in a statement here on Saturday that IGA 2023 is a public relations competition organized to measure and evaluate the performance of government public relations and public agencies within ministries, institutions, local governments, state universities, SOEs, subsidiaries of SOEs, BUMDs, and hospitals / hospitals throughout Indonesia.

According to him, the award is a barometer of the highest achievement as well as a relay of achievements that the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources continues to maintain in communication and public relations performance.

“Continuing to innovate and collaborate to create creative and useful programs is our step to remain the spearhead of government communication, especially in the ESDM sector to the public,” he said.

Agung also revealed that the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources’ public relations in the future will continue to prioritize communication and delivery of information that is easily understood and accepted by the public according to the times.

“We also continue to encourage government public relations, especially at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources to continue to work creatively and innovatively to create communication programs that really have an impact on the public and society,” he added.

The IGA 2023 judging took place on May 3-4, 2023, involving a jury of public relations practitioners, namely Asmono Wikan, Founder and CEO of Indonesian Public Relations; Emilia Bassar, CEO of the Center for Public Relations, Outreach, and Communication and lecturer at Universitas Mercu Buana; Janette Maria Pinariya, Vice Chancellor I of LSPR; Jojo Suharjo Nugroho, Managing Director of Imogen PR; and Maria Wongsonagoro, President Director of IPM Public Relations.
