JABAR EKSPRES – The Election Supervisory Agency of Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region, hopes that all 75 villages in the region will support the anti-money politics moral movement that grows from rural communities through the Anti-Money Politics Village (APU) program.
“We encourage the 75 villages in Bantul to declare APU Village, we hope all of them will support the anti-money politics moral movement for elections and regional head elections,” said Nuril Hanafi, Coordinator of Human Resources and Organization Division of Bawaslu Bantul after the declaration of APU Village in Argodadi Village, Bantul, Sunday (6/11).
According to him, this way, Bantul can really create or jointly strive to reject and fight and eradicate money politics in all elections and elections.

“And the hope is that it can spread to the village head election, even though the implementation of the village head election is not the authority of Bawaslu, and we do not have the authority there, the hope is that anti-money politics also includes political education for the community,” he said.
Nuril hopes that in the future, all elections, regional elections and village head elections will be without money politics, so that the elected leaders and representatives are of quality, integrity and can bring the Bantul region and each village to be more advanced without money politics.
He further said that the APU Village, which has currently been declared in 15 villages in Bantul, is an initiative of the village community that has formed an APU team, so that the anti-money politics moral movement in the village is ‘bottom up’ or from below and not from above.
“This is purely from the community from below, the real example that already has a running program is in Murtigading Sanden Village, but we encourage all APU villages that have formed APU teams to have their own programs,” he said.
