Perhutani Sukabumi Urges Miners to Obey the Rule of Law

JABAR EKSPRES – The State Forestry Corporation (Perum Perhutani) of Sukabumi Forest Management Unit (KPH), West Java, urges miners to comply with applicable laws related to mining activities.

“Illegal mining falls into the realm of crime and all perpetrators involved can be fined up to imprisonment. As happened some time ago, Sukabumi Police arrested a number of illegal gold miners on land owned by Perum Perhutani, Cibuluh Block, Ciemas Village / District, Sukabumi Regency,” said Perum Perhutani KPH Sukabumi Administrator Asep Setiawan in Sukabumi, Friday (9/6).

According to Asep, so that mining activities do not clash with the rules and laws, his party asks miners to take care of licenses to become legal, so that the mineral resource mining activities they carry out have legal force and are in accordance with the rules.

Of course, in obtaining licenses, mining entrepreneurs will not be complicated by related agencies as long as the requirements are complete. In addition, another advantage is that they will get various briefings and so on.

Then, in carrying out mining activities, they will be calm and not worry about being raided or arrested by security forces, because they already have a permit. Not only licensing issues, mining entrepreneurs must also pay attention to natural conditions so that they are not damaged, such as reforestation and others.

His party also appreciates law enforcement officials who have been strict with illegal miners, from arrests to closing illegal mining sites. Because the impact of their activities all parties are harmed.

On the other hand, Perum Perhutani KPH Sukabumi also planted 250 types of Mahogany and Raksamala in the former Cibuluh Block excavation area so that the land can return to green.
