JABAR EKSPRES – The South Denpasar Police Sector (Polsek) revealed the mode of a freelance tour guide who is also a recidivist Lilik Budianto (51) in distributing methamphetamine narcotics in Denpasar City, Bali.
“The perpetrator mediates the sale and purchase of methamphetamine by sticking and placing it in a location that has been determined by someone known as the boss,” said South Denpasar Police Chief, AKP Ida Ayu Made Kalpika Sari, in Denpasar, Wednesday (6/7).
Kalpika said that initially when distributing drugs on Friday (6/2) on Jalan Pulau Roti, Gang Beruang, Sesetan Village, the suspect was reported by the community because of the suspicious movements of local residents.
“When secured, officers found evidence of methamphetamine weighing 26.76 grams, a crackle bag used to wrap the goods, a cellphone used to communicate with the boss, and the motorcycle used,” said Kalpika.

After being questioned by investigators, according to Kalpika, suspect LB had also served a sentence at Kerobokan Correctional Institution in Badung, Bali, based on a decision of the Denpasar District Court in 2012 for the same case of distributing narcotics and was arrested by officers.
Kalpika said that in carrying out the action, the suspect received a wage of Rp100,000 per paste, after receiving a message from the boss through the WhatsApp messaging media. Then the perpetrator leaves the narcotics in a place agreed upon with the customer.
“Initially, there were 24 packages to be distributed in several places in the Denpasar and Badung areas. So the suspect was called by the boss on June 1, 2023. There the suspect was told to take 24 packages of methamphetamine,” said Kalpika.
After taking the methamphetamine on Jalan Pulau Galang, Pemogan, the next day Friday (6/2) at around 6:30 a.m. Wita, he received a message via WhatsApp from the boss who ordered him to stick 24 packages of methamphetamine to a predetermined location around Kerobokan Street, Pedungan Street and Sesetan.
