JABAR EKSPRES – The Central Java Provincial Communication and Informatics Office has assisted small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Panusupan Village, Rembang Subdistrict, Purbalingga Regency to successfully produce high-value snacks made from local ingredients such as coconut, salak, palm sugar and bananas.
“Our mentoring activities are in accordance with the direction of Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo which aims to alleviate people from poverty,” said Head of Statistics of Central Java Diskominfo, Hita Yoga Pratyaksa, in Semarang, Saturday (6/3).
The processed products produced from the training include ant sugar, coconut oil, serundeng, rolled banana, taro banana, coconut biscuits, candied salak, salak dodol, mangleng cassava, ant ginger sugar and ginger syrup.
He expects SMEs that have received training to continue to develop and improve their production quality.

Regarding the sale of snacks, they are expected to utilize online platforms, with internet access assisted by the Central Java Diskominfo.
“We have said that we can empower teenagers to utilize the internet connection that has been facilitated, for example to register for training at the Cooperative and SME Office or create a website to promote tourism potential and products produced by mothers,” he said.
Previously, Deputy Governor of Central Java Tak Yasin Maimoen requested that the One Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD), One Assisted Village Program be optimized as an effort to accelerate poverty reduction in the province.
“The implementation of the program in the context of poverty alleviation needs to be optimized and periodic mapping related to areas that are included in the poor and extreme poor zones,” he said.
The Deputy Governor also asked each OPD to be observant in seeing the potential that can be developed in their respective regions.
