Five Batches of Indonesian Hajj Candidates Arrive in Mecca

JABAR EKSPRES – A total of 1,897 Indonesian hajj pilgrims who are members of five batches that departed first from Medina have arrived in Mecca.

Chairman of the Hajj Pilgrimage Organizing Committee (PPIH) Saudi Arabia 1444 H, Subhan Cholid together with hotel managers welcomed the arrival of the SOC 1 embarkation pilgrims accompanied by hadroh and various decorations in the hotel lobby.

“Alhamdulillah, they are physically healthy, fit and very happy to arrive in the Holy City of Mecca,” Subhan Cholid said in Mecca on Thursday (6/1).

A total of five groups arrived in Mecca, namely from Jakarta Pondok Gede (JKG 01), Solo (SOC) 01, Makassar (UPG) 01, Aceh (BTJ 01) and Medan (KNO 01).

Subhan said the committee had prepared Shalawat bus transportation facilities to transport pilgrims who would perform the first Umrah.

“Whenever the pilgrims want to perform Umrah, the Shalawat bus transportation is ready to serve to the Grand Mosque,” Subhan said.

Meanwhile, one of the Mecca daker worship advisors, Rahmatillah, said that Umrah would be adjusted to the condition of the congregation.

“Those who use wheelchairs can perform Umrah after dawn,” Rahmatillah said.

The worship supervisor will accompany the congregation, one of which is on the bus, in addition to continuing to educate the congregation to prioritize mandatory worship over sunnah to maintain physical fitness before the peak of the Hajj pilgrimage.
