JABAR EKSPRES – West Manggarai Regent Edistasius Endi invites tourists visiting Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara to enjoy diving spots in the super priority tourism area (DPSP).
“There are 52 diving spots in Labuan Bajo located on beautiful small islands. Let’s try it,” said Regent Edistasius from Labuan Bajo, West Manggarai, Wednesday.
Labuan Bajo has several underwater tourist destinations that are included in the Komodo National Park (TNK) area, including Sabolo Island and Manta Point.
Sabolo Island is one of the diving spots that is a favorite location for divers.
This island is famous for its beautiful white sand, crystal clear blue sea water, and beautiful coral reefs.
Furthermore, there is Manta Point which is suitable as a snorkeling location for tourists. If lucky, tourists can see directly the largest species of stingray in the world, the Manta Fish.
In addition to these two places, tourists can also try to enjoy diving activities in the waters of the Komodo Islands such as Pink Beach which has beautiful underwater scenery.
However, not far from Labuan Bajo, there is the island of Bidadari Island which can be a recommendation for the best place to do snorkeling and diving.
Regent Edistasius explained that West Manggarai continues to improve day by day to make the area a national and international tourist destination.
Especially since it was designated as one of the DPSPs in Indonesia, there has been a lot of progress both in terms of physical and human development aimed at preparing Labuan Bajo as a world-class tourist spot.
He also guarantees safety and comfort while tourists visit Labuan Bajo.
Regent Edistasius hopes that the promotion carried out by the local government and other stakeholders can increase the number of visits to Labuan Bajo.
“Let’s just travel to Labuan Bajo,” he said.
