JABAR EKSPRES – The General Election Commission (KPU) of Manokwari Regency, West Papua, urges all people in the region to check the suitability of the temporary voter list of improved results (DPSHP) posted on public facilities.
“The community must actively check the DPSHP that we have posted in village halls and other public places,” said KPU Manokwari Chairperson, Aplena AL Rumaikeuw, in Manokwari, Tuesday (5/16).
She explained that the check was intended so that people, especially those who have the right to vote, can ensure the suitability of the data listed in the DPSHP.
In addition, the public can check voter data through the KPU’s official website, https://cekdptonline.kpu.go.id.
If there are names that have not been included in the DPSHP or differences in the location of polling stations (TPS), then immediately coordinate with the Voting Committee (PPS).
“We have distributed the DPSHP so that the community can provide feedback before the permanent voters list (DPT) is determined,” she said.

She said the DPSHP of Manokwari Regency was 136,991 active voters, including 69,279 men and 67,712 women, spread across 671 polling stations in nine districts or sub-districts.
The DPSHP recapitulation is a review of the plenary results of the temporary voters list from 173 villages/sub-districts in Manokwari that was conducted previously.
“After reviewing the DPSHP, on June 20-21, 2023 we will determine the DPT,” said Aplena.
She detailed 136,991 active voters, 1,667 new voters, 1,564 unqualified voters, 19,073 voter data improvements, and 321 non-electronic ID card potential voters.
For West Manokwari District there are 69,133 active voters, East Manokwari 8,835 active voters, South Manokwari 17,534 active voters, and North Manokwari 2,954 active voters.
Tanah Rubuh 2,962 active voters, Warmare 6,201 active voters, Prafi 12,088 active voters, Masni 12,054 active voters, and Sidey 5,230 active voters.
Head of the Manokwari Population and Civil Registration Office (Disdukcapil), Rustam Effendi, said that DPSHP is still very possible to change because population data is dynamic.
