To obtain approval for the ratification of the Jambi RAPBD for the 2017-2018 fiscal year, it is alleged that the suspect SP and his friends who served as members of the Jambi Provincial DPRD for the 2014-2019 period asked for a sum of money with the term “ketok hammer” to Zumi Zola, who was then Jambi Governor.
“For this request, Zumi Zola through his confidant, Paut Syakarin, who works as a businessman, prepared funds of around Rp2.3 billion,” Tanak said.
Regarding the distribution of “ketok hammer” money, he continued, it was adjusted to the position of the suspects in the DPRD, which amounted to Rp100 million to Rp400 million per DPRD member.
As for the technicalities, the KPK suspects that Paut Syakarin handed over Rp1.9 billion to Effendi Hatta and Zainal Abidin as representatives of suspects SP and friends.
With the money, the Jambi RAPBDs for the 2017 and 2018 fiscal years were finally passed.
“To compensate for the money that had been spent, Paut Syakarin gave to suspects SP and friends, Zumi Zola then gave several work projects at the Jambi Provincial Public Works Office to Paut Syakarin,” he said.
