JABAR EKSPRES – A Stingy tourist who is a travel vlogger named Davud Akhundzada has gone viral after insulting traders in Sade Village in Lombok, Indonesia. He recorded a video of himself when he was about to buy a piece of cloth from an old lady.
Davud Akhundzada was called stingy after saying, “everyone is very expensive here.” In fact, the price of the cloth that the old lady sold was very cheap.
However, the cloth, which only cost a few dollars, was not bought by him. Davud chose to just give the money to the cloth seller.
After that, he grumbled while calling Sade Village very bad. He even wanted to get away from Sade village, which he thought was a lot of scammers. Davud accused the people of Sade Village of committing fraud.
Davud called all the traders he met in the village of Sade to be scammers, but he couldn’t explain why he said that.
After the video he uploaded went viral and drew criticism from Indonesian netizens, Davud Akhundzada clarified that he didn’t feel guilty and didn’t need to apologize. He even admitted that he had made many donations in the countries he had visited.

Some people agree with me that necessary actions have to be taken, and some people are so patriotic to claim it is completely normal to rip off tourists under the cultural village concept.
Also, people calling me “cheap” and bargaining to get 50K sarung does not see when I hand over 100K to the old lady who is actually getting abused to sit there and sell stuff while she has to be in bed and rest and enjoy her last years.
I would never disrespect someone’s hard work, and I do understand these things take days and weeks to make. But do not come to me with a ridiculous amount and ask me to bargain. In the end, they are still selling it more expensive than it is supposed to be even if you bargain because you feel good about bringing the price 2-3 times down.
