The success of the Montreal Protocol is a tangible example of how international cooperation can have a positive impact on environmental protection.
World Ozone Day provides an opportunity for all of us to contribute to the preservation of the ozone layer. One simple way to do this is by reducing the use of products containing CFCs and halons, such as aerosols and old air conditioning units.
By switching to environmentally-friendly products, we can help minimize our carbon footprint and reduce the pressure on the ozone layer.
