JABAR EKSPRES – PT Kalbe Farma Tbk. managed to achieve the three highest achievements in the annual International Quality & Productivity Convention (IQPC) 2023 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, which was held last week.
“Kalbe Group’s participation in the IQPC event is proof of Kalbe’s commitment in the implementation of all Sustainability pillars, namely environment, social, and governance. All are focused on providing the widest possible access to health services to the community,” Kalbe Pharma Manufacturing and Quality Director Sherly Septiana Harjo explained in an official statement in Jakarta, Tuesday (9/12).
Sherly said Kalbe has participated in the IQPC event since 2022, then in 2023 Kalbe returned to IQPC by sending three innovation works, all of which won the Excellent title in the IQPC 2023 event.

“Kalbe’s three innovation works are Increasing Productivity by Eliminating Minor Stoppage of Incorrect Tube Position in Filling Machine IWK1 Line 7. The innovation was made by Fuad Adi Kurnia (Production Supervisor of Kalbe Business Operation), and Danang Aris S (Kalbe Production Operator),” said Kalbe Manufacturing System Technology Development (MSTD) Head Irvan Maulana.
The second innovation, said Irvan, is Increasing the Capacity & Quality of Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) at PT FIMA (a Kalbe Group Company) with Biologival Hybrid Technology (MBBR-MBR) to Fulfill Waste Quality Standard Requirement & Support Factory Operation for 2022-2031. The innovation work was made by Dieki Rian Mustapa (MSTD Manager of PT FIMA/Kalbe Group Company), and Estriningtyas Agus Rismawanti (QC Supervisor of PT FIMA).
The third innovation, said Irvan, is Creating Company Shared Value in Social Innovation to increase Wellbeing and Waste Solution in Wonogiri, Central Java.
The innovation work was created by Chondro Rini (Project Leader), Modesta Titis S (Project Co-Leader), Melina M.
