JABAR EKSPRES – Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno stated that the organization of the World Tourism Network (WTN) Summit 2023 is expected to increase the stretch of Indonesia’s MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Convention, and Exhibition) sector, especially in Bali.
“WTN Summit 2023 is an international meeting room for tourism sector stakeholders to determine the direction of tourism development in the future with the theme SMEs Role In World Tourism,” Sandiaga said in a written statement received in Jakarta, Tuesday (9/12).

The meeting on September 28, 2023 – October 1, 2023 in Bali, he continued, will give birth to a number of concrete collaborations between domestic tourism players and international tourism players through a series of cooperation commitments.
“It is projected that there will be 200-250 participants from 133 WTN network countries such as the United States, Jamaica, Canada, Montenegro, Malta and Turkey attending WTN 2023,” he added.
He also invited the public to support WTN, because this activity is the next big MICE activity that we will offer to the world after the success of the ASEAN Summit and the World Islamic Entrepreneur Summit.
“We will continue to encourage MICE with the WTN World Tourism Network Summit. This will hopefully be our attraction in the future,” he said.
WTN Summit 2023, initiated by the World Tourism Network and fully supported by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy and in collaboration with various organizations, such as the Bali Tourism Board and BPPD Bali, has a series of agendas, including trade shows, seminars, discussion forums, networking forums, investment forums, awards, to the delivery of joint declarations and post tour programs.
