“IWF is one of the many promotional activities for Indonesian products in Saudi Arabia, especially food and beverages,” Eko said through a written statement here on Friday.
Eko said the exhibition, which took place from July 27 to August 17, 2023, was the result of joint work with the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia (KJRI) and the Indonesia Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) in Jeddah by cooperating with supermarket owners and a number of importers of Indonesian products.
According to Eko, the demand for Indonesian products in Saudi Arabia is increasing every year both by Indonesians and foreigners.
“Our target is that Indonesian products are not only known, but also in demand by people in Saudi Arabia, not only Indonesians, but also other foreign nationals who make up about 40 percent of the total population of Saudi Arabia,” Eko said.
The Economic and Trade Team of the Consulate General in Jeddah continues to initiate various promotional programs, among others, facilitating business matching with a number of entrepreneurs from Indonesia and Saudi Arabia.
