JABAR EKSPRES – Manchester United are rumored to have got their target goalkeeper, Andre Onana from Inter Milan.
Reported by renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, United are rumored to have “here we go” to land Onana as a replacement for David de Gea who recently left.
“Andre Onana to Manchester United, finally here we go!,” Romano wrote via his Twitter page, Monday (7/17).
Romano said United are now finalizing an agreement with Inter for the Cameroonian goalkeeper to undergo a medical and sign a contract.

The Italian journalist also added that the Red Devils are now asking for a VISA to arrange Onana’s travel for a pre-season tour of the United States to face Arsenal, Wrexham, Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund.
“Man Utd will request a VISA for Onana’s travel to the US. Ten Hag will have the new goalkeeper he wants,” wrote Romano.
Regarding the contract, the former Ajax Amsterdam goalkeeper will sign a five-year contract with an option to extend for one year.
“Understand Andre Onana will sign a five-year contract at Manchester United, valid until June 2028. Manchester United will also include an option for the next season, until 2029,” wrote Onana.
Reporting from Transfermarkt, Onana performed nicely in the last season where the 27-year-old goalkeeper appeared 41 with Inter in all competitions by recording 19 cleansheets and winning two trophies, namely the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana.
Onana’s fine performance also led Inter to the Champions League final for the first time since the last time in 2009/2010, the year they won the treble winners or won three trophies in a season under Jose Mourinho.
Meanwhile, Onana is no stranger to Erik ten Hag, the current Red Devils coach. Both have worked together at Ajax for 4.5 seasons and won six trophies, namely 3x Eredivisie (2018/2019, 2020/2021, 2021/2022), 2x KNVB Cup (2018/2019, 2020/2021), and 1x Johan Cruyff Shield (2019).
