Everton to Move to Bramley-Moore Dock in Premiere League 2025/2026

JABAR EKSPRES – Everton soccer club based in Merseyside, England, will reportedly move to the new Bramley-Moore Dock stadium in the 2025/2026 season in the Premier League competition.

Reported by The Mirror on Thursday, Everton is sticking to the original plan to build the stadium with a target completion by the end of 2024.

Colin Chong, Everton’s Chief Executive Officer, revealed, “We believe the stadium will be completed in the last months of 2024. This means we will not start the 2024 season at the Bramley Moore Dock stadium. To reiterate, the club has never officially confirmed the intention to start the 2024/2025 season at our new stadium.”

The stadium, which is planned to have a capacity of 53,000 spectators, will replace Everton’s current headquarters, Goodison Park stadium.

Chong added, “This stadium will be our home for generations to come. Therefore, our ambition is to ensure that this right is earned by everyone. Although this season may be tough and winding on the pitch, I am confident that the Bramley-Moore Dock stadium will lead us to a glorious future for our football club.”

Regarding the use of the new stadium, an assessment is currently underway regarding its use in the middle of the 2024/2025 season.

Chong explained, “Moving to a new stadium mid-season may have some commercial benefits, but it also presents a number of challenges and obstacles that could negatively impact other aspects of the club and commercial considerations.”

Looking ahead, Everton will be holding a meeting with the club’s supporters to discuss the first competitive match to be played at the Bramley-Moore Dock stadium.

Chong stated, “In the coming months, we will undertake further consultation with supporters on the stadium move process as we seek to make a fully informed decision on when the first competitive match will be played at the Bramley-Moore Dock stadium.”
