JABAR EKSPRES – Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko stated that if Russia collapses then “we will all die”.
This statement came after Wagner mercenaries rebelled against the Kremlin.
“If Russia collapses, we will remain under the ruins, we will all die,” Lukashenko said at a ceremony in the capital Minsk.
Witnessing the “armed uprising” in Russia last weekend was “painful”, Lukashenko said.
“I must say it is painful for me to watch the latest developments in the south of Russia. Many of our citizens also sympathize with them. This is because our homeland is one,” Lukashenko said.
Lukashenko admitted that he had ordered the Belarusian army to be on full alert during the events in Russia.

Regarding the deal Lukashenko brokered to end the conflict between Wagner and the Kremlin, the Belarusian President asked not to make him a “hero”.
“Don’t make me a hero, neither me nor (Russian President Vladimir) Putin or (Wagner leader Yevgeny) Prigozhin,” he said.
“Because we just let the situation happen and then we thought the conflict would resolve itself, it didn’t,” Lukashenko continued.
He also claimed that the Belarusian opposition had also “started to be loud” amid the events taking place in Russia, but they were wrong.
“They (the Belarusian opposition) are trying hard to show at least the results of their work to their bosses. They have even issued calls and published plans showing readiness to implement their own armed uprising scenario,” he said.

Earlier on June 24, Wagner’s mercenary leader, Yevgeny Prigozhin, accused the Russian Defense Ministry of attacking his fighters, and declared a “Show of Justice” and moved from the Ukrainian border to the Russian city of Rostov-on-Don.
Prigozhin even planned to deploy his troops to Moscow to “overthrow the military leadership.”
