“The athletes’ game improved significantly because they were able to keep up with the resistance of athletes from other countries who have been our toughest competitors. Athlete performance is still in good condition in accordance with our goal to pursue points towards Paris 2024,” he added.
Meanwhile, three silver medals were presented by Khalimatus Sa’diyah (SL4 women’s singles), Leani Ratri/Khalimatus (SL3-SU5 women’s doubles) and SL3-SU5 mixed doubles pair Fredy Setiawan/Khalimatus.
Bronze medals were won by Fredy Setiawan and Hikmat Ramdani (SL4 men’s singles) and Dheva Anrimusti in the SU5 men’s singles.

The Indonesian para-badminton team under the auspices of NPC Indonesia is grateful to the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Canada who continues to strive to find Hikmat’s suitcase.
High appreciation was also given to Indonesian citizens in Canada for their support for Indonesian athletes during the championship.
After appearing in Canada, the Indonesian para-badminton team will next appear at the championship in England which is a level 1 tournament on August 2-6.
