He emphasized the importance of fast, safe, and planned grain shipments.
Guler also highlighted the second session of the meeting at NATO headquarters and discussed efforts to strengthen the alliance’s deterrence and defense stance in the current security environment.
He said: “In this context, we recalled that after the events in Kosovo, our country, which has historical and cultural ties with the Balkan countries, immediately deployed an additional reserve battalion to contribute to peace, calm and stability in the region. We detail our contribution to NATO’s command and force structure, operations and missions, and efforts on land, sea, air and space.”

Guler also noted that they conveyed Turkey’s views on agenda items directly during the meeting
“We show our sensitivity in fighting terrorism, as we do in every neighborhood. We underline that terrorism in all its forms and manifestations must be eradicated without discrimination.” he said
We stress our determination to eradicate all terrorist organizations, including PKK/YPG/PYD, FETO, ISIS, Al-Qaeda, and others. We expect full support from our allies in this regard.
A trilateral memorandum at the NATO summit signed by several countries in June last year stipulated that Finland and Sweden would not provide support to the YPG/PYD, the PKK offshoot in Syria, or to the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO) – the group behind the 2016 failed coup in Turkey.
