JABAR EKSPRES – Around 5,000 visitors packed the Indonesia Fair exhibition arena held on the grounds of the Indonesian Embassy in Beijing, China, Saturday.
The event, which was also attended by foreign ambassadors and diplomats as well as Chinese businessmen, showcased Indonesia’s superior products, tourism and culture of the archipelago.
Indonesian Ambassador to China Djauhari Oratmangun stated that the exhibition titled “Wonderful Indonesia” was the largest exhibition of Indonesian products since China lowered the status of the COVID-19 anti-pandemic health protocol at the end of 2022.
“Here we can enjoy typical Indonesian culinary snacks such as chicken satay, yellow rice, kapau rice, and taste authentic Indonesian coffee and swallow’s nest,” he said.

The event also launched the official account of the Indonesian Embassy in Beijing on the Kuaishou application and Snack Video, a short video platform from China.
The Indonesian Embassy opened Consular Stalls to provide immigration and consular services and consultations for Indonesian citizens in China.
Malang Mayor Sutiaji and Malang City Government officials also attended the Indonesia Fair event to promote investment and economic potential of the region.
In addition to stalls selling food and drinks typical of the archipelago, the event was enlivened by a music entertainment stage.
