JABAR EKSPRES – A total of 472 hajj candidates from Karawang Regency, West Java, who are members of flight group (kloter) 18 departed for the Holy Land of Mecca.
The release of the pilgrims was carried out by Karawang Regent, Cellica Nurrachadiana, at the Yonif 305/Tengkorak field, East Telukjambe, Karawang, Tuesday (5/31) evening.
“This time we are releasing 472 hajj candidates and eight officers, to leave for the Holy Land,” she said.
He advised the prospective pilgrims from Karawang to use the best possible time to carry out worship while in the Holy Land.

“Use the time for 40 days to multiply worship, dhikr, prayer, charity, and tawakal,” she said.
In addition, Cellica also invited all pilgrims to maintain body fitness.
“I also advise all prospective pilgrims to always maintain their health, considering that the Hajj is a birth worship that requires a healthy, strong and excellent physique. Thus, a series of Hajj activities can be completed perfectly,” she said.
In this year’s Hajj season, Karawang received a quota of 2,134 pilgrims and Hajj officers, divided into six flight groups.
Meanwhile, for the release of prospective pilgrims who are members of flight group 18 on Tuesday night was also attended by Forkopimda ranks, starting from the Chairman of the Karawang DPRD H Budianto, Karawang Kajari Saefullah, along with representatives of Kodim 0604 and Karawang Police, Danyonif 305, and Head of the Karawang Ministry of Religion Office Dadang Ramdani.
