JABAR EKSPRES – Atletico Madrid secured a 2-1 win over Real Socidad in the 37th week of the Spanish League at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium, Madrid, Sunday night local time.
Atletico Madrid took the lead thanks to goals from Antoine Griezmann and Nahuel Molina, while Real Sociedad had reduced the gap through Alexander Sorloth, according to the Spanish League records.
Thanks to this victory Atletico Madrid are still in third place in the Spanish League standings with 76 points from 37 matches, one point adrift of Real Madrid in second place.
On the other hand, this defeat makes Real Sociedad certain to end this season in 4th place in the Spanish League standings with a score of 68 points from 37 matches, regardless of whatever results they get in the last week.

In this match the two teams almost played balanced, but Atletico Madrid were more diligent in releasing kicks with 11 attempts, five of which were on target.
