Espanyol Confirmed to be Relegated from La Liga

JABAR EKSPRES –Espanyol are confirmed to be relegated from La Liga after drawing 2-2 against Valencia in the 37th week of the Spanish League at the Mestalla Stadium, Valencia, Sunday night local time.

In this match Espanyol actually had a 2-1 lead thanks to goals from Cesar Montes and Martin Braithwaite, but Valencia was able to equalize through Samuel Lino in second half stoppage time, according to Spanish League records.

Espanyol became the second team to be confirmed to be relegated to the Segunda Division next season after Elche was confirmed to have dropped out of the caste a few weeks earlier.
