Previously, the Indonesian government rescued 542 Indonesian citizens (WNI) in the first phase of evacuation from Sudan, which was hit by military conflict since April 15.
“A total of 542 Indonesian citizens are on their way from Port Sudan to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia,” Director of Protection of Indonesian Citizens and BHI at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Judha Nugraha said, in a text message, on Tuesday (25/4).
