About Alicia DC
Alicia Diva Chandra (Alicia DC) is a singer-songwriter, composer and aspiring music producer based in Singapore. Self-described as a free soul that loves to learn as much as she can about the world of music, she enjoys writing quirky, meaningful lyrics to serious music, and constantly strives to compose and produce new genres that she has not tried before.
Alicia DC was part of the *SCAPE Music ALT. Residency programme where young musicians are paired with mentors to help develop their original works into published tracks, culminating in a listening party for them to showcase their final works. As one of four selected candidates, Alicia debuted her first four-track EP Maybe through the programme in May 2022, with the help of established industry professionals such as Weish, Isa Ong and Leonard Soosay.

In February 2023, Alicia DC returned with a second EP Lovergirl, switching up the jazzy tunes that she is known for, Lovergirl explores a pop-genre inspired by popular hits that Alicia enjoys listening to. Over the past year, Alicia has been involved in many local showcases, performing at prominent venues including the Esplanade and the Singapore Art Museum, as well as being a part of local art festivals such as the Singapore Night Festival and the Waterloo Singapore Night Festival. She also opened for Korean American R&B artist Hojean during his show in Singapore in June 2023.
