JABAR EKSPRES – Japanese philanthropist Yuma Muranushi intends to improve the potential of Indonesia’s human resources by introducing them to Japanese culture and education system.
In a statement released in Jakarta on Monday, Yuma said that while not all the ways implemented by Japan may always be right, he is willing to provide assistance if there are certain parts that need attention.

He noted that Indonesia is currently in the world’s spotlight due to its rapid growth, so many potential individuals (or human resources) in Indonesia are able to work abroad.
“I hope they also have the opportunity to come to Japan,” he said.
Given that the average age of Indonesia’s population is still relatively young and its population far exceeds that of Japan, Yuma, who is the founder of the Nippon Donation Foundation, expressed his hope that the spirit and energy of Indonesia’s youth can be used not only domestically, but also for global interests.
The reason is that he believes that this energy will eventually flow back to Indonesia. Therefore, he would be delighted if more Indonesians could widen their horizons and harness this potential for global causes.
“So far, with the help and support of various parties, we have provided support for schools in various regions such as Bali, Surabaya, Madura, Yogyakarta, Jakarta, Jember, and Bogor,” he explained.
Previously, the Ministry of Villages, Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration (Kemendes PDTT) stated that investment in education is an important step that will shape the future of the nation.
