Jabar Ekspres – UNIQLO announced the launch of Around The World with Roger Federer at MoMA PS1, Queens, New York, United States starting August 2.
The event, which is part of the Next Generation Development Program, offers a rare opportunity for junior tennis players to meet and learn from world-class athletes.

At the event, they will join the Kings County Tennis League, which is an organization that combines tennis and education to help children in public housing in New York reach their potential.
A full-sized tennis court will occupy MoMA PS1’s courtyard and be adorned with artwork from renowned KAWS artists in support of Around The World with Roger Federer’s mission.
“Together with Roger Federer, KAWS, MoMA, and MoMA PS1, as well as our partners, Around The World with Roger Federer is a great opportunity for us to continue to change the lives of young people and expand our impact in exciting new ways,” said Fast Retailing Group Senior Executive Officer Koji Yanai, in an official release received Monday (24/7).
Roger himself will lead training and mentoring sessions to help develop children’s abilities on the field and discuss the characteristics of a professional athlete and community leader.
The Around The World with Roger Federer event will also feature a live collaborative art installation. A local New York artist will create a giant mural with direct creative assistance from attendees and guests.

Upon completion, the artwork will be signed and given to the Kings County Tennis League as a permanent gift to support their efforts to empower and support youth from disadvantaged communities in New York through the sport of tennis.
Following the August launch in New York, Around The World with Roger Federer will soon visit other cities around the world, with the next series to be held later this year on a different continent.
