The Majority of Hajj 2023 Participants are Women and Housewives by Profession

At the peak of Hajj in Arafat’-Muzdalifah-Mina, he added, the PPIH in collaboration with Masyariq will provide around 3,417,152 boxes of catering consumption services that will be distributed from 8 to 13 Zulhijah 1444 Hijri.

PPIH Saudi Arabia has prepared 122 hotels spread across five regions, namely Mahbas Jin, Shisyah, Raudhah, Jarwal, and Misfalah. A total of 52,187 rooms have been prepared. The closest distance from the hotel to the Grand Mosque is 850 meters, while the farthest distance is 4,339 meters. To take pilgrims from the hotel to the Masjidilharam, PPIH Saudi Arabia has prepared a salawat bus.

For Medina, PPIH Saudi Arabia has prepared 107 hotels spread across three areas of Markaziyah (around the Prophet’s Mosque), namely Shimaliyah (north side of the Prophet’s Mosque), Gharbiyah area (west side of the Prophet’s Mosque), and Janubiyah area (south side of the Prophet’s Mosque).

The closest distance of the hotel from the main courtyard of the Prophet’s Mosque is 15 m, while the farthest is 500 m. A total of 107 hotels will also be used by the second wave of Indonesian pilgrims who go to Medina after undergoing the hajj pilgrimage.

The Saudi Arabian government has set 1 Zulhijah 1444 AH to coincide with June 19, 2023 and wukuf in Arafat on 9 Zulhijah 1444 AH to coincide with Tuesday, June 27, 2023. Indonesian pilgrims will gradually depart from their respective hotels to Arafat on June 26, 2023.

“The peak of Hajj is getting closer. We urge Indonesian hajj pilgrims to maintain their stamina and health condition in preparation for wuquf in Arafat as well as overnight stays in Muzdalifah and Mina,” Subhan said.
