Jabar Ekspres – Team Arjuna from the University of Indonesia, together with a team from tire manufacturer IRC, held a “Care for the Earth, Reduce Plastic” campaign to support the reduction of plastic waste in Indonesia.
This activity also welcomes their preparation for the Shell Eco-marathon event at Mandalika Circuit, Lombok, which will be held on July 4-9, 2023.
“This activity is in line with the spirit of environmental conservation by the manufacturers of IRC tires and Zeneos tires, which are all without plastic wrapping,” said Representative of PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk as the manufacturer of IRC tires and Zeneos tires, Dodiyanto in his official statement on Wednesday.

The Shell Eco-marathon race will actually be followed by several universities from various countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, China, Thailand and other countries.
Team Arjuna from the University of Indonesia and also team Nakolea received support from IRC as the official tire that will be used later.
Support from IRC has also been present since 6 years ago, where the team won 1st place in the Shell Eco-marathon Competition for the Urban Electric and Prototype Gasoline classes last year at the Mandalika Lombok Circuit.
“Team Nakoela & team Arjuna are very happy and helped a lot with research by the IRC team and we also fully support the plastic waste reduction campaign,” said team representative, Ariza.
The race is an annual competition that challenges participants to build a special vehicle that can achieve the greatest possible fuel efficiency.
